The computerized class selection system has been designed to automatically restrict enrollment of students based on classification. Students are limited as follows:

When registered for certain courses, WebSTAR may notify you that there are restrictions on enrollment, which means that there are certain conditions that must be met in order to take the course. (For example, Requires Approval of Department or Not Open to Freshman, etc.) If you do not meet the conditions of the restrictions, but believe you have a special case, please contact the academic department offering the course for instructions. If the appropriate department representative approves a waiver for you to enroll in a restricted course, department staff will give the student 24 hours to register for the course.
