WebSTAR is normally available 24 hours a day, seven days a week, except during University holiday periods and scheduled maintenance periods which run from 6:00 P.M. Saturday to noon Sunday. The only other exceptions are:

| What You Will Be Able to Do with WebSTAR |
Students are able to register, check enrollment appointment times, view holds, check for special messages, print out class schedules, view grades, pay fees, accept aid, and check financial aid on the web. The University is constantly fine-tuning the system, so check periodically for the latest available services.

- To access WebSTAR, go to http://webstar.uno.edu. (Microsoft Internet Explorer is recommended) or to the UNO home page and click on WebSTAR link.

- Click on the student link.
|
- To log on for your personal services, you will need:
|
- Your WebSTAR User ID (which is your UNO LAN ID + @uno.edu).
|
- Your WebSTAR password (which is your UNO LAN password).
|

| WHO CANNOT USE WebSTAR TO REGISTER: |
WebSTAR is available to all students for all phases of registration with the exception of those listed below. First time Freshman will also be blocked until they have attended an orientation session or the last scheduled session has passed. These students should report to the office instead.

| Helpful Tips before Logging on: |
- Before you begin, see your advisor (if required) to discuss course selection.
- Plan your schedule carefully. Write it down, along with the class numbers before logging on. Have alternate courses and/or sections ready in the event your first choice is not available.
- Note which courses have the fewest sections and enter them first.
- Microsoft Internet Explorer is the recommended web browser.
