NursingLSUHSC School of Nursing UNO cooperates with the Louisiana State University Health Sciences Center (LSUHSC) School of Nursing by offering the general education courses required for the baccalaureate degree program, a four-year program designed to educate the professional nurse. The program, accredited by the National League of Nursing and approved by the Louisiana State Board of Nursing, prepares the student to take the state licensing examination to become a registered nurse. Admission Requirements for the Baccalaureate Degree Program Admission to the bachelor of science in nursing program is by competitive application. Minimum requirements are:
The Baccalaureate Degree Program admits two classes each year. Deadlines for applications are February 15 for the fall semester and September 1 for the spring semester.
